Hi, I’m Andrew, the photographer behind D’Avino Photography.
I specialise in children’s, childcare and family photography, creating natural and timeless portraits in a calm and enjoyable environment.
As a Maple Bear parent myself, this Photo Day is especially meaningful to me. I understand how important it is for children to feel comfortable, supported and able to be themselves.
My aim is to capture genuine expressions and beautiful memories that families can treasure for years to come.
My photography style is natural, timeless and child-led.
Rather than relying on stiff poses or forced smiles, I create a relaxed experience that allows each child’s personality to come through.
Children may be photographed using a combination of:
- Classic individual portraits
- Natural seated poses
- Simple props such as books or blankets
- Genuine smiles and quieter expressions
- Clean professional lighting and backgrounds
Every selected image is professionally edited with care.
How Photo Day works

Your child is photographed during their normal daycare day.

You receive secure access to your child’s photographs.
4. Choose Your Package
Purchase after viewing or secure the 10% discounted package before Photo Day.
5. Receive Your Order
Digital photographs are delivered online, and printed products are professionally prepared.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I have to purchase a package?
No. Registration is free, and there is no obligation to purchase. You are welcome to view your child's gallery before deciding whether you would like to order.
Can I see the photographs before purchasing?
Yes. Once your child has been photographed, you'll receive secure access to your private online gallery where you can view all available images before making a purchase.
How does the 10% pre-order offer work?
Simply complete your Complete Collection order before Photo Day and choose either Pay Now or Pay Later at checkout. Your 10% discount will be automatically applied.
Are the galleries private?
Yes. Every family receives secure, private access to their own child's gallery. Your child's images are not publicly accessible.
Can siblings be photographed together?
Yes. Siblings who attend Maple Bear and are photographed on the same Photo Day can have a sibling portrait taken together.
Will my child be included in the class/group photo?
Class/group photos are subject to Maple Bear's photography consent arrangements. Where permission has been provided, we will do our best to include every child. Participation is always optional, and we will never force a child to be photographed if they are uncomfortable or distressed.
Why isn't my child in the class/group photo?
There are several reasons why a child may not appear in the class/group photo, including family consent preferences or if they were uncomfortable participating on the day. Our priority is ensuring every child has a positive and enjoyable Photo Day experience.
What if my child is absent on Photo Day?
If your child is absent, we unfortunately cannot guarantee a catch-up session. If you have pre-purchased the Complete Collection, we'll contact you to discuss the available options.
How are my child's photographs kept secure?
Your child's photographs are stored securely and shared only through a private online gallery. D'Avino Photography does not use children's photographs for AI image generation or AI training, and images will never be used for advertising or social media without the appropriate consent.
Is D'Avino Photography accredited to photograph children?
Yes. D'Avino Photography holds a current NSW Working With Children Check and Public Liability Insurance. We are committed to providing a safe, professional and enjoyable photography experience for every child.
What if my child doesn't want their photo taken?
That's completely okay. We never force a child to participate. We take a patient, friendly approach and always work at your child's comfort level to make Photo Day a positive experience.
